Healtec mass-casualty triage tags follow the internationally standard START (Simple Triage And Rapid Treatment) protocol with four-colour codification – Red (Immediate), Yellow (Delayed), Green (Minor) and Black (Expectant / Deceased). Designed for disaster response, mass-casualty events, multi-vehicle accidents and emergency-room overflow scenarios.
The International Triage Colour Code (START Protocol)
- RED – Immediate: Life-threatening injuries requiring urgent care
- YELLOW – Delayed: Serious injuries but treatment can be delayed
- GREEN – Minor: Walking wounded; minor injuries
